About Adventure Kids
Every child is checked in with a matching pick-up receipt that must be turned in upon picking up each child. All volunteers and workers are trained and screened with background checks, and every classroom is routinely monitored by dedicated volunteers to ensure the safest environment.
From hands on activities and crafts that correlate with the Bible lesson, to age appropriate games and songs, your child is sure to have a great experience each week! We believe in a family atmosphere where all children are included and loved by kids and adults alike.
The mission of UA is to be discipled and to make disciples. We believe this begins in our kids ministry. Each Sunday, every child will engage in a Bible based lesson, worship songs and a craft taught by a trained and passionate volunteer. It is our goal that the children of UA have a hunger for truth at a very young age.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my child too old for Adventure Kids?
Adventure Kids is for infants through fifth grade. Anyone over that age is encouraged to spend service with the adults.
How do you divide up the children?
We have separate rooms for infants, one-and-two year-olds, three-to-five year-olds, and five-to-ten year-olds. The five-to-ten year-olds will join the adults for worship before being dismissed to Adventure Kids.
What is Family Sunday?
Typically on the fifth Sunday of the month, (which happens only every few months) all children will join the adults in the sanctuary for the entire service. There will be no childcare on Family Sundays.
Who is in charge of Adventure Kids?
